Faculty of Science to Host 'Computational Mathematics and Modeling' Conference

The Department of Mathematics at MU's Faculty of Science will host an international conference entitled 'Computational Mathematics and Modeling' on 22-24 May, 2002. The Conference, jointly organized by MU and Curtin University of Technology, Australia, will be held at the Century Park Hotel in Bangkok. The Conference is intended to provide an important forum for the international community of mathematicians and scientists working in computational mathematics and modeling. It will cover computational techniques, mathematical modeling, applied analysis, differential equations and dynamical systems, in the broadest sense. This includes applications to real-world problems, encompassing chemical, physical, and life sciences, in the forms of mathematical modeling and computations. Participants from all over the world will report on research developments, exchange ideas, and discuss trends and prospects for future research in this area. Invited Speakers are from several countries, including Australia, China, the USA, Hong Kong and Singapore.
