Faculty of Dentistry Organizes Training Program

MU executives with the training participants from Laos.

The Faculty of Dentistry recently organized a training program in various aspects of medical technology and public health for 30 medical staff from Thailand's neighbor to the north, Laos. The training program was initially inspired by a proposal from H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The Opening Ceremony was held on 14 January, with various luminaries in attendance, including: H.E. Mr. Hiem Phommachanh, Ambassador of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to Thailand; and Royal Thai Government representatives Prof. Somsak Chuckpaiwong, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of University Affairs, and Ms. Siree Bunnag, Deputy General, Department of Technical and Economic Cooperation.
